Dear Mayor Butler,
I would ask that you reconsider your town's stance regarding Breed Specific Legislation. Walter is a Service Dog, and his owner desperately needs him to be in the home with him. Far too often, many innocent dogs are deemed "dangerous" because of their breed and/or a stigma attached to that breed of dog. It is not fair to the dog or their family.

This dog has basically saved that guys life! He has done absolutely nothing wrong and if you take him away you will break the peoples hearts.

How can this be? If a neighbor agitates a dog or anyone for that matter why is it the dog's fault? Nosey busybodies should not even considered trust worthy in this case and nothing warrants this dog being registered as a "dangerous dog" All dogs can be dangerous when agitated....the only people that should be cited are the people who instigated this ordeal.
Please do the right thing and that is reprimand the people responsible not the responsible pet owners.

He is a SERVICE dog. For god sakes. It's NOT the breed of dog, it's how its raised. Even the military uses ANY and every kind of dog. For GOD sakes leave this alone.

This is a service animal, it has no record of being vicious, his only crime is being a bully breed, this discrimination needs to stop.

There are ADA laws out there that so many areas are ignoring. BSL is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. I work in a store that people bring in all breeds of dogs. We have not had an incident and I have been there 12 yrs. Hey we even have a service dog. So many areas are cancelling their BSL. Also if they neighbors are taunting the dog they need to be arrested for inciting an animal to cause harm isn't that abuse?
