Please protect Walter and let him be with his owner. All dogs bark. If you should do anything do something to the neighbor he threatened to shoot Walter. Dogs have rights to. Save Walter! Please!

Walter is as mean as my beagle and she will only kiss you to death. Give us all a break. Walter is not dangerous. He is a very sweet dog.

I'm with Walter... I am a Police Officer and owner of 4 rescue Pitbulls... BSL Ignorance needs to be eradicated. Due process and the truth will hopefully prevail !

Mr Mayor,
Identifying a dog as dangerous because of its breed rather than by its behavior and training would be wrong!
Maybe we could have this gentlemans neighbor classified as dangerous because he is deliberately baiting, teasing and taunting a service dog and his owner!
Please see Walter as what he is a working dog and save this man's quality of life and let a good dog do his work in peace.

This is totally unconstitutional. He has not harmed a single person. I hope the people who are putting Walter and the McAlister family through this ridiculous ordeal someday needs a service dog, and this happens to them or they get some form of punishment because this is absolutely ridiculous and it angers me and many many other people.

Mayor Butler... I can understand how the overwhelming response in Walter's favor can seem intimidating. Please know, we animal lovers are very protective of our pets and, by extension, others. If I were in your shoes, I would recommend having Walter evaluated with a reputable dog trainer to see where he stands as a "dangerous dog" before you or anyone else makes a potential error in judgement by sentencing him based on the mere fact he was "barking," especially when it seems the other party may have been teasing or egging him on. I'm sure not only the family of Walter would appreciate your thorough investigation into this matter. Thank you.

Maybe the neighbor should be banned the dog only reacts when it's provoked and this dog is helpful to his owner .
