This service family member is doing what it is trained to do and help this gentleman. The neighbor should be sited for the attempt to provoke an animal. I had a neighbor like this and he would torment my dogs which are labs the friendliest breed but let me tell you dogs know when to sense danger. I hope you take the time a think about how this will effect this gentlemen a quality of life if you take his best friend away for barking and only barking. I hope you reflect how you would do this to an innocent animal who has done nothing wrong.
This is for the neighbor how dare you aggravate or attempt to provoke a service dog family member of this gentlemen it is people like you that cause animal lovers such grief my suggestion to you find someone who loves you and Will be by your side through thick and thin like walter is for this gentlemen. Also find a hobby because it sounds like you have to much time on your hands to be bullying this service dog.

this is so ridiculous. The neighbor is an ax to grind, this man needs his service dog. Breed limiting is so stupid. It has no scientific background and is based in bad and lazy owners. This dog has been through more training than you or your constituents if they keep you in your job! Making this go viral so you do what's right!

I recommend that you meet this animal and look into his eyes. He has puppy dog eyes. I ask you to let Walter go back to his owner and be the dog that he was meant to be - a service dog. Put yourself in his shoes.

Service dogs are needed, they are not just a pet. How can you - Mayor Butler - think this way? Had he hurt ANYONE or ANYTHING I would understand. Those with disabilities NEED service dogs and I know this from first hand experience.
Shame on you for even thinking this dog deserves such a "listing"
Maybe you should be listed a "dangerous human" for your thoughts and behavior!
I have a pit bull who is the sweetest dog I have ever known. But she is "that breed" - so people go bonkers about it. Its the people who make a dog bad, not the breed

Please let Walter go home. He is a service dog and has done no harm to anyone. The neighbor needs to be fined for causing all these problems and should be required to put up a privacy fence so they will leave Walter alone. This family deserves to live in peace with Walter.

I believe what you have done is awful. I cannot believe any community would have the by-law that your community does. This is a human being's service dog for heaven sake... shame on you and shame on your community and especially that spiteful neighbour

Why not have the neighbor investigated, they seem to be the issue, not Walter. Thank you for your kind consideration of the above.

Back when I was in college, a friend of mine, who lived at home while going to college, had pit bull as a pet. The most dangerous part about her was her tail because she would be so happy to see people, her non-cut tail would push things off of coffee and end tables.
