I lived next to a dog baiter, like Walter does. He antagonized our dog constantly and when that didn't work, tried to poison him.
Don't let another needed dog go through this, just because of his breed. Let Walter go back home and help this poor man !

Surely if this is a service dog it is unlikely to be viscious. Common sense should prevail

This is a service dog. He has never bitten anyone, attacked anyone, or even knocked over a child. He reacts to a person who has purposefully agitated him and you want to label the dog as dangerous??

I think it is the neighbor's creating the problem with Walter. They need to get a grip.

This dog only supposedly showed aggression while being tormented by a neighbor. To label the dog as vicious is ludicrous. The neighbor, now he on the other hand could be charged with animal cruelty to a service animal. Adam and his dog deserve a life, not being labeled. My dog tells me if my sugar is high or low, he growls while playing tug a war, but he never bites, should my 25 lbs dog be labeled vicious? People are horrible, not always the animal.

a dog barks to protect its property and its owners. If anyone should be punished in this instance it is the neighbour for antagonising the poor animal. Having lived through a similar situation myself it was living hell until the cruel neighbour who would torture my dog with high pitch whistles and by proding her through the fence finally moved his crazy arse away. No animal should be punished for stupid human behaviour.

Why hasn't anyone investigated this to see how this dog acts in public instead of just taking the word of one man?

If my dogs were labeled vicious because if barking at a fence, or neighbor, or squirrel, or at nothing at all, I'd be in serious trouble. So would almost every dog in my neighborhood. This person who lives next door to Walter sounds like he has issues with animals. P
