Please, some people just don't understand that THEY are more dangerous than some dogs. Service dogs go through a tough training and have to be even tempered even in stressful situations.
If anything, I bet the neighbor had a bad situation with this breed and now has it in his mind that EVERY dog in that breed is aggressive. This is akin to declaring EVERY African American a gangster or every White person racist. It just isn't true.
Please, help this man get his service animal back. They need each other.

I can't understand what kind of person would not want to help someone with a service dog. The neighbor is obviously a very mean hearted person that needs attention, sadly it is through person with disabilities.

I don't know who mayor Butler is but our Mayor would never take a dog away that is performing a service to a disabled person! Perhaps you should charge the neighbour with cruelty to animals by taunting or teasing the animal we would! Do the right thing Mayor Butler! You will make an animal vicious by teasing, hitting or taunting all the time as that is a form of abuse! There would be such an uproar here if anyone ever tried that!

it's not the breed that makes a service dog it is how they r train and how they behave to judge a dog based on its breed is Ludacris for you to do that would be like you discriminating against people for different positions in life just because they are different his dog has done nothing wrong for you to say it is a dangerous animal and cannot be a service dog when it is serviced this man for over several years I understand your concerns but unfortunately its past is enough to say exactly what it needs if there is nothing that it happened and there is nothing that will come from this dog being a service dog other than beneficial and supporting to this boy I appreciate your interest in it and I appreciate your concern but dont judge ppl and do not judge animals based on free race creed color in or religion thank you

" www.ada.gov handbook on service animals. breed specific legislation is founded on falsified studies that have since been retracted and are spoken against by our nation's leader and other prominent politicians at the national level as well as politicians on the local grassroots level; what is the rationale behind your county's legislation to fine owner's on this list created on false pretenses? How would you like if someone wanted to publicly list one of your kids as dangerous though they had broken no law or exhibited any actions to affirm such a claim? Would you feel it right to pay $100 a day just to clear their name? Given your credentials i am sure you are more than capable of making the connection between this and your current case against walter the service dog and his family. Though I know you cannot discuss specifics of the case I implore you to fulfill your duty as a public servant and stick up for the rights of your citizens. I see you have vision of breaking into the policy making side of politics...I am sure there are bigger issues for you to devote your time and resources too...one of which i see on the surface education...it appears over 18% of your town's population has not graduated high school. please do not tell me another young bright citizen is entering politics to play the same game while preaching change. is this the same broken system you want your kids growing up in? i dont know much about your life history but it seems you have broken that mold if you grew up where you hold office. It is time for you to realign your moral and legal compasses and do what is right.
