The dog is not dangerous. He was goaded cruelly and after jumping the fence but did not attack so clearly the neighbour is a bully and vengeful. Please don't condemn this beautiful animal.

I am writing today in support of Sharon McAlister, her disabled son Adam, and his service dog, Walter. It is my understanding that Walter has never attacked another human or animal in his life. Therefore, I hope you will use your influence to help a handicapped individual retain the use of his service dog.

Look at this dog... he did absolutely nothing wrong... a human decided to rile him up and then when he barked and tried to jump the fence fingers were pointed. You need to educate yourself on dog behaviour big time! To Walter: hang in there sweet one we're all rooting for you even across an ocean! (yes thats how far your story went, and we'll be keeping a sharp eye on whats happening)

To destroy a service dog that is helping a less fortunate citizen and the dog protects his master, as dogs know he is unable to, is wrong in our opinion . Please....I have a licensed Service Dog. He allows me to live a semblance of a life. I have a progressive illness. I could NOT live without my Service Dog. Please do NOT require Walter to be 'registered' as a Dangerous Dog...he is NOT. My own service dog, once barked at the door...instead of shushing him, I realized this is his home too, and just as Walter did, he was protecting his home. He did not bite anyone. He did not cause any damage. He does not deserve such an awful title. Please.

The dog will instinctively protect the disabled owner.
