Deeming a dog dangerous just because they barked at the neighbor is ridiculous. I'm sorry, but if my neighbor hits on my fence, I am going to say something to them to let them know not to do it again. By barking, Walter was letting them know not to hit the fence again. Dogs bark. That is how they communicate. My dog does the same thing when the neighbor hits the fence. I do not think this justifies a "dangerous dog" stigma.

Weive next-door to a dog exactly of Walter's breed. Could be his twin. He has a loud bark and an equally large gentleness -- even with our children and other dogs. Please consult an expert before labeling an otherwise innocent pet who could be a huge help to his human family.

I own four dogs and any dog will bark or jump if annoyed through a fenced yard. They are protective animals. I also have a therapy animal, who has even performed on National television, and that animal will also defend her own territory. Barking and jumping are not signs of aggression. They are the dogs voice to welcome. We as disabled Americans need to defend our right to service animals at all and any costs. This story need full media attention.

Walter is a very much needed Service Dog. He would not have been given to his owner if there was not a legitimate need. Let Walter do the job that he was trained to do and let the owner live a peaceful and more productive life. Shame on this neighbor!! Stop harassing and get along.

Honestly, this is ridiculous! We have a 99lb yellow lab. He barks and charges our fence no matter who is on the other side. He just wants to get to them to share his love. And if some home were to hit a dog, they have what's coming to them. Save Walter! And his owner!

To Whom This Concerns. I am with Walter and I.m very upset This harmless dog has not been returned home. I would like to ask all in office would you like your beautiful pet treated the same way all because a bully control freak neighbour edged your dog on.What would you tell an upset child or grandchild what happened to the dog. That neighbour needs to answer to aggrivation all charges should be dropped.I.ve been through similar a neighbour banging on their glass doors to upset my dog at the fence and soon as my boy barked and jumped at the fence the lowlife came out and threatened to shoot my dog times 4this happened..I pray you all wake up to this horrible neighbour and please give Walter back to his family. I plead with you all from Australia. Yours Truly Stephanie Murnane.
