Service dogs are supposed to protect their owner. I think people are making a big deal out of nothing. Leave the dog and its owner alone.

Poor Walter was just being a dog. If a human teased/agitated another human a fight would be on. This is ridiculous and I am sick and tired of the mistreatment of animals. This is an innocent family member who is also a valuable service companion. Anyone who would prosecute this type of crap due to an irresponsible human needs their head examined and should be disbarred! Just remember what comes around goes around! FREE Walter now!!!

Dogs bark and jump especially when provoked. This dog is not a threat! He is a Service Dog. A Hero in many people's eyes. Think about the good this dog does. The neighbors should be questioned about why they have been harassing Walter. Maybe they should be registered as dangerous people. Think long and hard about what you are doing, There are laws concerning abuse to animals. What the prosecution is wanting to do is abuse.

This is RIDICULOUS! Maybe the neighbors shouldn't be taunting the dog, which I am sure is protective of his family ! They shouldn't be allowed to touch their property ( fence) anyway. If teased, most dogs will bark. The dog was clearly provoked, why are you rewarding the punks???

why don't you make the neighbors stop hitting someones fence? Why is a dog that helps someone or barks to alert the owner that someone is infringing on their home considered dangerous? What is wrong with you people? Why do you always think it is better to do away with a pet than teach some people manners? SAVE WALTER McALISTER THE SERVICE DOG.....deal with the offenders
