Its a sad day when a registered service dog is placed in jeopardy by the foolsh act of one person. Even if the dog did bark at the neighbor, it is no reason to list this loved and valuable animal as a dangerous dog. If every barking dog was classified as dangerous, every dog would be on this list.
Walter is a certified service dog, and as such he has been trained to b a disciplined working membr of this family. It's plain to see how this situation has negatively affected Adam and his family.
Sir, I implore you to dig deeper, to discover the true motivation of this neighbor. What was his reason for purposely banging on the fence? If he believed the dog to be "dangerous," why would he put his hands over the fence? It seems that the story doesn't play in favor of the neighbor and his behavior; it just doesn't add up.
This is not just any dog that belongs to just any person. Consider how this situation has torn this family apart. Can you agree that they already carry enough of a burden without adding this heartache to it? Sometimes there is a greater good to be considered.
I hope that you rally In favor of this family and this dog. I thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

Any dog is going to bark if it thinks it's person's property is being invaded. The dog was protecting the property. It is NOT, I repeat, NOT a dangerous dog. Please familiarize yourself with any dog's behavior when it feels something is not right.

Walter was doing what dogs do! If somebody was hitting my fence both my dogs would be barking. I think the neighbor should be charged with animal cruelty.
Not to mention Walter is a service dog!!!

It is not fair to have to get rid of a pet because you have people hitting the fence where the dog is kept, of course he is going to bark and have a fit because he is protecting his property.

Sir, I would hope that you would put yourself in this family's shoes for a moment. Wouldn't you want to see your disabled son or daughter's life improve with the help of this service dog. By the way you should be getting onto the neighbor for teasing this animal. You know that all dogs (doesn't matter what breed) will protect their property. I live next door to a little chihuahua and she is very protective over her yard. Would you label her has a DANGEROUS DOG????

God bless this family and save this beautiful American bulldog!! He was set up by ignorant people who have no idea the love and devotion American Bulldogs have for humans and how noble and smart they are! They are protective of their home and family which is to be expected and for the neighbors to complain and deem him dangerous for jumping on the fence while they hit it, means they did it on purpose with malicious intent on the dog!!
