Shame on you people! Walter is a SERVICE dog and should be treated as one. He provides valuable assistance to a disabled person. If the neighbors are so ignorant and inconsiderate that they would stoope to agitating and taunt-ing this helpful animal, THEY should be punished, NOT this beautiful service dog!!!

I am writing this to support Sharon McAlister and her son Adam. From what I read, Walter was being antagonized by the neighbors.Instead of punishing Walter and his family, why no go after the people who caused walter to retaliate? walter was only doing what comes natural. I have a Chi/Fox Terrier. She barks when someone knocks on the door. Should I be concerned that my community will label her a dangers breed dog? Well it's the same thing you are doing with Walter. He did nothing wrong. Leave this family alone and let them go one with their life with Walter.

Walter needs to go back home where he belongs and the neighbor who hit the fence should be the one going to jail for harassment and provocation! Stop labeling dogs dangerous when they are reacting to a to the stupid behavior of a human!

Nothing short of spiteful people put in a power position to do evil deeds.
That is exactly what is going on here.
Shame on you Mr mayor!! Your day in control is short lived and karma will be at your heels!!!

Please let them keep Walter their service dog & discipline the instigating neighbor instead! Give him the benefit of the doubt since he had a clean record! Thank you

Any animal (including humans) will get angry when teased or agitated to a certain limit. Not Walters fault if the neighbors do this to him and he talks back to them, because that is exactly what he is doing.

It is his JOB to bark from WITHIN his property to keep people away. What is happening in the US? How crrazy are things getting? Release this SERVICE DOG to his family and leave him and them alone. He has done absolutely NO HARM to anyone!!!!

A dog whose whole life have surrendered in service for the one he loves deserves to be free. He is not a dangerous dog. In fact, we, humans, are the dangerous one. Dogs attitude towards humans are based on how we treat them. Bring back Walter to his family!!! He's just a very wonderful dog who needs a family to love him! Don't you guys ever have a heart?!!

This dog is not a Dangerous Dog... the neighbors who instigated this is the party responsible. Please do not punish this dog and take him away from the family he serves and protects. Please let the party who behaved (numerous times) negligently and irresponsibly be the ones held responsible. They alone provoked this entire episode. Do not let such neighbors get away with ruining a family by punishing an innocent dog. The neighbors who bullied this dog should be fined and a restraining order filed by the McAlister family to protect them now and in the future. Kindly do the RIGHT THING and see this case for what it really is. Thank you for your open consideration.
