Barking is the only way they have to communicate. This law demands that the all be silenced because people are too ignorant to understand the basic needs of other living creatures. Communication is not bad thing. Barking in many ways is like a child laughing, crying or having a fit. Would you ask them to be isolated from everyone else? I don't think so.

Dear Mr. Mayor, I am writing you today to ask that you please let Walter the service dog stay with his owners, ufortunatley pit bulls have gotten a bad rap due to the ignorant and heartless people that have bred them for fighting, but Mr. Mayor it is all on how they are raised, being a pit bull owner myself, I can tell you , they are the most loyal, obedient, loving, funny, highly intelligent and incredibly cuddly beings, I can't imagine the pain and loss that this family would go through if Walter cannot stay with them, could there be a compromise?, maybe it would make everyone feel better if he was muzzled in public?, and if the person in question that keeps antagonizing this poor dog gets a serious warning and even jail time for what he is doing is harassing a service dog and a family with a disabled person in it, I mean really that is outrageous!!, please help this family!, thank you kindly, Francesca

barking and jumping are not signs of a dangerous dog. Sounds like he was being harassed.....Service dogs are trained to help not hurt people.

I cannot understand the mentality of people. Banging on someone's fence and getting this dog into trouble. I think there is more to look into on this one. Neighbours must be ignorant people to report this mans service dog. Leave the dog be and arrest the neighbour for making trouble.

Walter deserves better and you all need to get a grip. Just because a dog barks and jumps on a fence doesn't mean he is dangerous.

Please don't kill him and let him go back to home. The family waiting for him. He felt his owner in dengar and tried to protect him. What about neighbor did? This is not fair. I pray for Walter and his family.
