There has been a Mobile library for elderly and disabled people in Walsall I was an housing Warden in sheltered housing from 1972 till I retired and the joy you seen on people's faces when it was library day just a small pleasure why take this away for goodness sake people haven't much to look forward too at the moment enough is enough leave our library alone

As a social care worker I see the need for libraries to support vulnerable & elderly people. Don't take away a social link they need.

The closure of any library is a cause for concern. To close a whole group of them in one area is to deny the people of that area with something vital in our civilisation - free access to knowledge and with it, self-improvement.

This is an appalling act which will be seriously detrimental to the lives of Walsall citizens. Libraries are an essential part society, allowing access to information, and free resources for self education. In an era when adult education is increasingly commoditized it is vital that full access to libraries is maintained. This is not just a threat to leisure and education, but a threat to democracy itself.

save pleck library closeing down our library will mean a limited education for those who don't have a computer or the right books conta.ining the right information at home because we wont be able to access the information from the library

we need to save the library pleck has a diverse number of people the library opens its doors to us all.our children use it regulary education is vital having pleck library helps build the foundation to reading writing and social skills .save it please.

My neice & nephew go to playgroup at pleck library and they are so upset it's closing down as they enjoy going there to learn & play.

The government are quick to highlight what our youngsters are not achieving in the basics including reading.Without libraries to support our youngsters from day one the local councils/government aren't helping children to achieve childrens potential in reading & socialising.Disadvantaged families with no access to internet will be further disadvantaged.Libraries support all age groups in the community a lifeline for those who live alone.
