Hi there, my name's Lee and I'm a news reporter working for the Walsall Advertiser. This week we are covering the great news on the proposal to close the Museum being reconsidered, and I wondered if the petition organiser would like to contact me? My number is 01922 721111 or you can email me at [email protected] - thanks!

This is ridiculous, the savings are miniscule and far outweighed by the benefits of the museum.

I'm Walsall born, living in London and I always take my kids to the museum when we visit, how else would I be able to show them the rich cultural heritage of their families??

I was born and grew up in Walsall and only live in Birmingham so I'm always coming back home. To close the museum to save a paltry amount is idiotic and shortsighted. Stop wasting money elsewhere and keep what is important to the town.

Walsall is already a cultural desert, the closing of the museum is scandalous. Simply sack one of the overpaid managers to save the 70K. The cultural heritage of the town is more important.
