No reason to scarifice the Park used by SO many diverse people in so many ways when the Athletic needs of LIncoln ( and Hamilton )students can be satisfactorily met in other ways.
Win/win.
I am both a Retired SPS Teacher and Resident enjoyer of the Park for over 40 years.

Utterly Ridiculous and anti community idea! The Park is far more diverse and useful AS A PARK! Not to mention the environmental negatives “astro turf” instead of actual TREES and GRASS!

Please do not replace the grass at Wallingford Playfield with turf. In addition to being a fossil fuel based product that contributes to climate change, it also contains an array of toxic chemicals including known carcinogens, such as PFAs, and heavy metals, like lead. Turf puts our families' health and the well-being of our environment at unnecessary risk.

Keep Wallingford playfield as it is, for the community! Not everyone has a backyard. My niece goes to the park every day.

Turf is an environmental toxin that should not replace grass for kids! Please put our soils and waters on your priority list. It will always come back to contaminate us in the end if we dont.

Turning Wallingford Park is not in the best interests of the Wallingford Neighborhood. Too many families will lose a valuable recreation area to organised sports.The proposed field is not environmental friendly.
