A short time ago the property which once occupied our Waialua Sugar Mill was purchased by a new owner. Part of the remaining structures is the iconic smoke stack. A great concern is that it maybe potentially taken down and lose a great part of our history and a memorial to Waialua Community members and multi-generational families that were employed by Waialua Sugar Plantation.

This petition is started to request State Historic Preservation Division recommending placement on the Hawaii Registry of Historic Places.
