If local authorities can be granted powers by central government to develop green belt land for housing shortages where they see fit, then I can’t see why this isn’t a worthy cause to grant permissions for this facility that has done so much for those vulnerable and less fortunate members of its community. There must be more tangible reasons for not allowing this site to remain other than the laws surrounding green belt land, especially as these can be manipulated at the whim of local authorities and central government!

This kind of community project is so needed, especially for our young people! I am Qualified Social Worker and set up my own supported living provision for 16-18tr olds! They need so much support any initiative that builds confidence and self worth has got to be supported by the government! Come on local authorities stop being so bureaucratic
