This program was the reason my daughter chose Villa over other schools, then it was terminated without warning, and after children chose the school, sat for admissions exams and registered for the upcoming year. I cannot express how disappointing and upsetting this is.

Pour l 'ouïe et pour les talents multiples des jeunes permettez a la musique d'habiter vos murs. De plus les soeurs ne travaillaient pas a faire des profits elles cherchaient ou trouver l argent pour la survie d un programme.

Nous ne sommes pas chez Bell, nous sommes dans une institution d’enseignement qui a bâtie sa réputation, entre autres, grâce à son école de musique privée. Faire des affaires c’est une chose, éduquer nos enfants en est une autre. SVP ne mélangez pas tout!

Pendant de nombreuses années, l'école de musique a grandement contribué à faire connaître l'école et à maintenir sa bonne réputation auprès des parents, des élèves et de la communauté. Villa Maria a longtemps été un symbole d'excellence, d'intelligence et de créativité. Il y a déjà un moment que sa réputation s'effrite. J'espère sincèrement qu'il n'est pas trop tard pour renverser la vapeur.

This program is ESSENTIAL! Don’t take it away from students when they are showing this much effort to keep it alive! Students are fortunate to have this opportunity no other schools have and don’t take from them! Reconsider!!

We need to save music programs before they go extinct. Just this year Collège Sainte-Anne had to shut theirs down due to the lack of students and possible funding and that is only one case among many in Québec.
