Save Vidant Wellness Center Gym

This is one of the nicest and cleanest gyms in Pitt County. I hope it continues to stay open.

I was very disappointed when I receive the email stating that VWC was closing permanently. It as been my motivation for getting fit after work for the past couple of years. It has been one of my happy places in life, big stress reliever. I’ve connected and reconnected with some great people. My friends, the staff, the whole calming and welcoming environment there I will miss greatly. Please don’t let this location close — ANY of the other locations but not this one.

I took Physical theropy there several years ago! Then I did water arobics! Loved it !!

There are good people that need their jobs

VIDANT Wellness is a major service mission of the Medical Center. It was created by people of vision like Dave McRae to promote healthy living. There was little expectation that ViQuest then Vidant wellness would ever have positive margin. It’s purpose was to offer a service that was true community based. I know Vidant still has that mission! Look inward and continue this and your patients will be thankful.

Daily users for years. What a disappointment this is to our community and the health of this county and eastern NC. We hope the financial head honchos will reconsider this decision. Rick and Linda Barnes

I love this gym at least close for covid safety but not permanently

the convience for a healthier life

This was a very important place through my high school years. It is a place that has many memories of my first experiences working out and I still swing by whenever I am back in town.

I love this place and the people in it they are like family and they have been part of my journey in life in many ways.

The staff of this place have always gone above and beyond. They really take into account your medical problems and help come up with safe workout solutions. There is nothing like it around.

Amazing facility ... great kids programs... wonderful instructors and staff! Please don’t close this gym!

We need this gym! Our health depends on it!!

Why close the entity that affects the largest population? Close the outlying smaller that generate the less return!!

So so sad to loose this place. As a VMC employee I consider it an essential part of my benefit package and necessary to promote my family’s health and well-being.

This has been a constant in our family life for years. Both of my girls have grown up there. Such a great place. Too important to shut down

There is no comparable gym in Greenvile. My children and I have been faithful members for several years, and this is a huge loss.

SAVE THIS AMAZING GYM that provides safe and perfect health and wellness for myself, friends and the community.
