My son is a sophomore in high school. Oshkosh is one of the colleges he is considering and was very interested in playing soccer on their team. Please do not eliminate this great program.

Athletic programs are extremely important to our universities and state. Not only does it attract scholar athletes to our schools but producing well rounded members of society.

It truly would be a shame to lose, arguably one of the top collegiate soccer programs in the state of Wisconsin. I have had the pleasure of playing this beautiful game with many UW Oshkosh Alum. I can honestly say I have never heard anyone talk negatively about their experience and the pride they show with being UW Oshkosh Alum is incredible. I also have the pleasure of being involved with one of the most successful youth soccer clubs in Wisconsin and with the loss of the UW Oshkosh program this would take away an opportunity for our players to continue their soccer careers at a very high level, but more importantly to continue their career in the State of Wisconsin, close to home. The accolades of this program speak for themselves and what this program has meant to, not only the Oshkosh community, but the entire State of Wisconsin. I truly hope the administration can take a step back and listen to the thousands of supporters to truly understand the negative impact that losing the UW Oshkosh soccer program would have.
