One of my favorite things in college was going to the boys soccer games. Rain or shine, we were out there to support them and watch them play. It'd be sad to see such a wonderful program end when it has a lot more yet to give.

Funding cuts to higher education is shameful. By now, we should understand the value of long term investments in our communities begin with informed decision making. The UWO soccer team is a strong part of our wider community. A funding cut for them is a funding cut on our extended family.

I know a few people that go here and that were on the team. This is such an unbelievable waste of talent for those that wanted to continue their love for the sport. No good can come of this.

If it a financial problem maybe you should look at the sports that cost more money to play like football. Please keep the soccer program.

I would not like to see Soccer cut from OWO, most likely in favor of more American sports like Football, Basketball, and Baseball unfortunately...

As a UWO alumni (and former athlete) I am very disappointed to hear about the cuts to the men's athletic programs. What a disappointment. I certainly hope this is reviewed and reconsidered in a more rational manner.
