They are a part of UConn and local history. With a spot on the National Register of Historic Places, it would be a terrible shame to tear them down.

While visiting UCONN I was drawn to the beauty & tranquility of Faculty Row. I am surprised & saddened to hear that these beautiful & National Register buildings will be demolished. Please save these beautiful & historic homes. History cannot be replaced!

It's a disgrace the university holds no regard for historic buildings. These buildings add charm and character and reflect back to the history of the campus. Greed and poor leadership are ruining the campus.

Please do not demolish these important buildings that are an integral and important part of UCONNS History. They should be incorporated in the master plan.

I lived in one of these houses and there was already so much history before me there. It really would be a shame to tear them down rather than re-purposing them. The campus looks so new with so many new buildings would be great to preserve some history on campus.

We need to stop industrializing everything and start preserving our history. I'm sure UCONN can find use for these buildings as is. How about restoring them as faculty homes!

Class of 1973. The central campus is claustrophobic with all the huge buildings and vanishing grass and small buildings. Leave a little grace for a change. It used to be a nice campus; it's starting to look like Joni Mitchell's nightmare.

UConn's admins need to STOP what they are doing and THINK about the legacy they are poised to destroy. The plan to demolish these historic houses and destroy the beauty and integrity of this area of campus is utterly short-sighted, boorish, crude, and UNEDUCATED. Shame on the admin for pursuing this!!!
