This park belongs to the PEOPLE of Saint John, not city council. DON'T SELL IT.

Keeping Tucker Park and developing it as a tourist attraction and for local enjoyment is more important than selling it to a developer. I do not want to see our beautiful landscape disappear in order to benefit a developer.

This is an invaluable asset to our citizens and our city. It is short-sighted to even consider turning this green space into a housing compound!

We use this beach regularly and think it's an important part of the community of millidgeville.

Parkland is what attracts new professionals who pay the taxes. There is plenty of undeveloped land available now, so this sale will not increase tax revenues

The short term gain does not outweigh the long term loss.

This was a GIFT to the city to be used as PARK not as quick and forgotten tax revenue.

The city is short sighted when it comes to outdoor activities, when I was chairman of the Millidgeville Community Centre, we requested that we ate control of the park and develope it for day campers and other recreational activities to enhance the community centre, Ron Hughes even designed a very nice iron gate for the entrance, but the city said they could'nt afford it, yet we never asked for any money, our politicians only do what benefits them, or business, not the taxpayer!

Public parks attract people and make a city more liveable. Let's reclaim building within the city or develop private holdings before we turn to parkland.

Selling off park land is very short sighted. We need to protect our green spaces for now and the future.

tucker park should stay a park and not be broken up to be sold in any way. it's for all the people, as intended. the city should know better! have we learned nothing with our parks...? (ie rock wood)

Tucker Park is a gem gifted to the citizens of Saint John by Lieutenant Colonel Joseph John Tucker. There is less than 10% of the original land donated for parkland. Let's preserve and cherish what little is left.
