Save Trackside

Valuable asset for students please do not cut funding

Save Trackside! My kids love it here! Don’t go!!

Trackside is an important part of the Wilton community and hopefully can be saved from budget cuts. It serves the social and emotional needs of teens in our community

Trackside is an important and valuable resource for our town. We all stand to lose A LOT if Trackside closes its doors.

I support Trackside and Wilton needs to come together to support this. I also applaud Lynne Vanderslice- budget issues are never easy- if people want this it will survive!

It’s a great, safe place for kids! It’s a gem for our town that doesn’t have a town pool, rink!

Thank you Shayna. It is incredible to see student voice in action. You are why I love working with kids and why Trackside tries to empower teens.

Smash bros will never die :)

I certainly trust that a plan to keep Trackside open and continuing to provide the unique and vital service it does for the Wilton community can be worked out.

Trackside has been a safe haven for many a teen in Wilton. Under the current board at Trackside, event attendance has been considerably higher than ever before. The varied types of events have drawn kids together that might not otherwise have had to opportunity to interact. I think there are other places to cut the budget than Trackside.

Save Trackside!

As a teacher in town, I have seen a resurgence of student interest in Trackside in the past couple of years, and the (often successful) attempts of the board to engage the adolescents and teens of Wilton in a variety of activities. It is a jewel in the town's crown, and I hope a way is found to preserve its budget. The social-emotional health of children is so important, and I fear the closing of Trackside would rob many of their safe space in which they thrive.

This is a vital establishment for our young teens. To have a safe space for them to go to after school.

Trackside is an awesome establishment and necessary for our kids to have a safe and social place to go

Our youth need support more than ever.

We support Trackside. Surely this town can find a way to keep it going.

Trackside offers a good social environment and activities to keep our teens engaged after school. I'm sure we would rather they not be hanging out vaping behind Town Green and other hangouts!

Trackside is invaluable to the community and should not be eliminated by budget cuts!

Trackside is an invaluable part of the community. Cutting its budget is a shortsighted, terrible idea.

Trackside is beneficial place for the teens for many reasons, social, inspiring, learning......
