Save Tommy field Market from being turned into an Asian Bazaar

Tommyfield market was the one thing that Oldham was famous and popular for. Don't lose the towns last grip on its heritage, build the market back to what it was.

Used to be the best market in the north west. now it just fabric n bong stall. Used to love the 50p stall and the boxes of broken biscuits as a kid

Its Oldham not Karachi, I thought Oldham was supposed to be multi cultural and not just promoting one ethnic group, Allah Akbar

Our Tommyfield Market was one of the best in the country at one time. People travelled for far and wide to come and shop. This is another example of Oldham counsel running our once great town into the ground!

Oldham is going down the tubes.. Oldham so once great market is testament to that...it should be reinstated..

This market used to be amazing I worked on there when I was a teenager it's sad to see what it has become

For years Tommyfield Market was held in high esteem by many people. They travelled far and wide to shop there. It has since had space taken from it for car parking. The deli has gone, dobby horses etc. We need to RE BUILD this market and get more people into the borough to.shop. Turning it into an Asian.Market isnt going to do that. The town has plenty of Asian clothing, jewellers, accessories and food stores. Help US townsfolk to help OUR town!!

Sick of Oldham being a foreign country half 80 percent of the population is some form of imagination get Oldham booming again

This is beyond a joke this market used to have coach trips to it and year by year oldham council have destroyed it .. enough is enough

we want our market back..it used to be the BEST in the whole of the North West..now it is manly a flaming Car Park and a laughing stock..this is both shameful and shocking...we now certainly DO not want an Asian Bazaar.
