Its been tommyfield market for so many yeard why get rid of it now why not spend money on it and get people making it back to thentraditional oldham market people from all over the country used to travel and see. Like the good old days.

My elder sister visited from australia 3yrs ago and was astounded at the state the market was in. Shes visiting again in 10 weeks i dread to think what she thinks this time round.

Oldham is a multi cultural town to alienate half of the town and take away the last historical landmark of our town is unacceptable.

Why spend 60 million pounds on the revamp of the town centre then let this go ahead the top of the town is an embarrassment it needs flattening.

Tommyfield was the best market around, and not everybody in Oldham is Asian why can it not be a mix of everything having a Asian bazaar is not encouraging diversity
