I've pulled my children from an abusive day care facility, and placesd them at Today's Child-Media and have been extremely eased since!! I consider it one of the best choices I have ever made; my children have thrived tremendously, they have grown leaps and bounds from the love and attention they recieve! I urge DPW to strongly reconsider their decision!

Please reconsider your decision today's child needs to stay in media. It's been a part of our family since 2008. The teachers and staff are not only a part of our family but our friends as well.

I don't know what really happened but either way closing down the center would be a punishment on the kids, parents and staff who are innocent, and not accountable for the incident.

This is an excellent daycare facility - the staff are well-trained and supervised. I have never had an issue with my children, and I completely trust the staff there.

My children have received excellent care. I feel the teacher's and administrators truly care about my children and have nothing but their best interests at heart with everything that they do.

Today's child has become more than just childcare for my child, they make my child fee as though she is part of their family. We don't have a lot of family locally, but we have learned you don't have to be blood to be family. When my child was sick, they emailed to check on my child. The mornings are full of hugs and genuine feeling asking my daughter how her night was. As a mother I feel blessed to have such loving people are for my daughter on a daily basis.

My toddler has been going to Today's Child -Media since August. He is NOT an easy one to take to new people. The teachers and staff at T.C. have been great with him to make him feel at ease every time at drop off. He has learned so much there already and is now starting to learn to use the potty. I really hope this center remains open despite the unfortunate event.

I agree with the petition. A reversal of the revocation would be the ideal outcome. Beyond a full reversal I believe a probation period would better serve all parties involved (DPW, Today's Child Media & the families) much better than a revocation.

I have 2 children at Today's Child in Media. Both of them have had made great strides in their development under the caring teachers and administrators at the Center. As other parents have stated, this would create a tremendous hardship for my family if this Center were to close. Our children have been in day care facilities since they were six months old. Very careful consideration and effort went into the selection of those Centers. This decision to revoke Media's certificate appears to be a bit of a witch hunt and a very drastic measure for a Center that has never demonstrated a pattern of behavior that would warrant this decision. I implore you to reconsider your decision and to focus your resources on Centers and people that pose a real risk to children.

I agree whole heartedly with the sentiment of this petition. I have never doubted the integrity of the teachers and staff at Today's Child-Media. My children are in different classrooms (pre-school and kindergarten) and both of their experiences have been nothing but positive. I too feel that it would be a hardship on many families, including my own, if the center was forced to close its doors. There are so many factors that go into a parent's decision when choosing a daycare center. Sure, some of it's logistics like proximity to work or home, but mostly it's about how the place makes you feel once you make that dropoff, knowing that you've left a little piece of you behind. Today's Child makes me feel like I made the right decision. Please reconsider. Thank you.

We had both our kids there from the age of 2 months. The teachers care about the kids - it is that simple. Their hearts are absolutely in the right place - and that is the most important thing of all.

MY CHILDREN ARE VERY SENSITIVE & DO NOT TAKE WELL TO NEW PEOPLE. THEY HAVE BEEN WITH THE STAFF @ TODAY'S CHILD-MEDIA FOR A FEW YEARS NOW & LOVE ALL THE TEACHERS. "I observe the teachers and staff with a critical eye during drop off and pickup. They take great care of the children and would do no harm to them. I feel the circumstances leading to the license revokation was an isolated incident, and not indicative of the facility and staff" " I have brought suggestions and comments forward to the staff and they are well received and sometimes incorporated. i ask that you reconsider your decision as the effects of the license revokation effect more than the school and its staff. It effects every child and thier parents who attend the school. As it was our decision to send our children, pleasae leave that decision with us." i quote this text as it is valid to our family.
