Building on school fields! Where are all these hundreds of new children going to go to school. Stupid !

We must save our green spaces and playing fields for future generations. This area is a haven for wildlife which deserves to be protected. Throckley does not have enough amenities to absorb the numbers of additional residents suggested. This idea is poorly thought out and only benefits the fat cats who will profit financially to the detriment of many.

Too many houses; too few resources; this is greenbelt land. It is just greed on behalf of the developers. As the old woodcutter proverb goes... "Dont give an inch unless you're prepared to concede a mile"

Too many houses on too little space, with little or no regard for infrastructure, social and community services and as for the primary school accomodating extra children, it may well be just possible with site A but there is NO discussion of it for Site B. Site B is ill conceived and not justifed and overall developing Site A will put unnecessary pressure on the existing community and infrastructure if the developers do nothing to contribute other than chucking up a load of houses with a bit of amenity space on the site, benefitting only the new residents! The only people benefitting from this "masterplan" are the greedy developers

Why build on Green Belt land? Newcastle Council have starved Throckely of any leisure facilities for too long. How does bringing in 550 new homes, with the potential for a further 550 homes, help this scenario? Throckley's roads are busy enough.... should I go on?

In addition to erosion of a valuable green belt, would this not be a loss of valuable agricultural land? Surely there is more than sufficient brownfield sites to accommodate housing needs.
