I oppose the existing proposal for rezoning. Listen to the residents. We do not need large scale development in our beautiful town.

I have lived in Concord for over 50 years. I also lived on Thoreau Street. I chose Concord for its bucolic nature. This project is injecting big city greed on an old New England town. We pay high taxes to try to keep sprawling expansion into established neighbor hoods at bay. I am distraught that an outside group of money grubbing developers are even allowed to suggest such an extensive development. Shame on our town officials an committees for allowing this issue to get this far!

Loss of Crosby and the friendly smaller stores is why I moved to Concord. Already we have lost the W. Concord grocer, the toy store from the downtown area, and the 5&10. Stop putting up new monsters and keep the fell of the town.

The proposed development is unreasonable in size and density. There are stores that our town depends on that would be destroyed. There is nothing positive for the life of the town in this proposal.
