The city should not only financially work with this locally owned company, they should make it a mission to let them continue providing joy to generations to come. Austin city leaders are destroying what we all love about the city. Absolutely shameful.

We love the train! I’m sure it’s part of a lot of people’s memories! How expensive can it be to keep it running... just charge $5 instead $2

I used to come in from Marble Falls to take my daughters to Zilker. Just to ride the train. I am so disappointed that now I cannot take my grandkids and tell them that their momma’s used to ride this same train. This is very sad news with all that is growing and changing in Austin that this old time simple pleasure has to end. Why is so hard to give them the 5 years that they need? Who’s in charge?

This will be another austin legend dying...please stop destroying our city. The zephyr train is just another one of the attractions in austin that attracted all of the people and success here in the first place! Saving zephyr isn’t just saving the train it’s saving another GREAT piece of austin.
