The shop stands for more than just a place of tattoos. It stands for the history of art and expression. Yes it is a tattoo shop but tattoos are still art just painted on a different canvas. You can't take a piece of history out of a book and replace it with something new just because it sounds good, so why take a piece of history out of, not only the world, but a state? It makes no sense. I have few tattoos but I love art. Cooking is an art as well but it doesn't hold rank over tattooing by any means. All art was created equal and you shouldn't tear down a place of history and art just to place modern day appliances in. It's a disgrace to the artist who worked in the shop and to all the canvases who went to the shop.
