I watched the family digging the hole for the foundation. It would be so sad to see it go. It is an American icon all around the world. Please save

I grew up in the neighboorhood behind the Taco Bell. Spent many hours there with family and freinds

The first Taco Bell IS historically significant! Although it may not be considered authentic Mexican food, Taco Bell was most certainly the mechanism for which the entire USA learned what Mexican food is! Let's save this building and restore it as an operating store again! It may not be a top earner because of the lack of drive-thru but with 6000 other stores, I think TB is doing ok and can absorb a few bucks of lost revenue for the historic significance gained!
