So much can be learned about the past that is relevant to present times at this home. I, as well as others have had many fond memories at this historical site. Let's all work together and find a way to keep and maintain this home.

History lost, like this house could be, is so easily history rewritten. History rewritten sometimes is more palatable to a culture but is never ever accurate.

Our history is so important! This is a home built by pioneers in a very beautiful and at the time rugged setting. I beseech the Cleveland Metro Park System to continue to work with local Medina County residents to save this wonderful piece of history! Once its torn down it can never be redone!

As a life long resident of Hinckley (45 years) I would be heartbroken to see a part of our history and landscape erased from our community.

We first visited the homestead when we moved to the area in2000 and have brought a number of out of town guests to see the property and the carvings. We have photos of the carvings in our daughter's baby book! This is part of the region's heritage and I would like to see the property used for concerts, historical and environmental education, and group meetings. Is there any way to team with the local school district to turn it into an outdoor learning lab? Other districts and counties have done similar things.

This house belonged to my great great grandparents. Please save this piece of history. I would be heart broken to see it go. Our families still enjoy this place, and pass it's history to our children. My children would like to be able to share with their children . Too many old houses get torn down . I am willing to donate my time and money to save this historical homestead.
