Archives are our heritage, and of fundamental importance.

So many people depend on this valuable central source of data including our church registers.

Have spent many hours researching the archives. Don't let all that knowledge go to waste.

THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE FOR THE COMMUNITY AND THE FUTURE.

Very useful and valuable service available to all. Should be publicised and made more accessible rather than cutting it!

Another cut to a needed service.

Such an asset to Worcester and people in the surrounding area, should not be deprived of essential funds.

Please do not destroy this award winning archive service. I was so glad of it during my research into the needle industry

This is such a valuable resource and should be maintained. If Worcester loses it through this goverment’s continual culling of budgets, and caps on council tax, chances are other authorities will have follow suit.

Short sighted decision by the council. The Archives provide excellent research material for a variety of people.

I urge you, DO NOT destroy our Children's, Children's, Children's Heritage. They will bear the true cost

is there no respect for our heritage?

I used these resources when a research student and later when researching local and family history. I have been aware that the archives need more funds not less.

It would be a tragedy if our archive and archaeology service was reduced. Surely some of the items dontated would have been intended to be accessible to the public.

We cannot, and must not, lose our archives. To think that our history will not be easily accessed by future generations is unthinkable. We are digging in the past but we must also think of the future.

We must fight to preserve our heritage

These archives are vital and must be preserved and maintained,

This service can't be lost. It is valued and used by so many people in Worcs and beyond

A very worthwhile project. Keep up the good work.
