This is a most valuable and unique facility within Worcester, which provides access to historic records, to individuals and organisations alike, and should be kept at its current level of services.

My grandad joined the Worcester regiment in early 1900’s and fought in First World War and in particular battle of gheluvelt. Knowing about these important events is so important

This is yet another proposed cut why? We continue to pay sky high council tax which increase each year, about time we had competent people to manage the budget s more effectively.

I am horrified that this wonderful facility is to receive a huge cut in its budget. I have used the archives for years, doing my family tree (600 years) and recently as a member of Hallow History Group, and in the writing of my local history book, which incidentally mentions the very first archive in St. Michael's church opposite the cathedral, followed by St. Helen's and County Hall. I feel a lot of money over the years has been wasted on other projects - e.g. bus lanes, illuminated car-parking signs, etc. and it would be a huge loss to the people of Worcester to lose precious hours spent in the Archives of Worcester. PLEASE THINK AGAIN.

Negating people's access to local archives is a retrograde step. Every local inhabitant is entitled to access local history.

I use the Family History department on a regular basis. I would be lost if it goes.
