In my view this is an important service for many community groups and individuals, and students. Our history and archives are essential and we should ensure they can continue for future generations.

These offices play a great part in family history. For both young and old. The are of great value and should be kept open

My mother has accessed this service frequently over the last 15 years for her family history and U3A research projects, including WW1 memorial work commissioned in 2018. It would be a huge loss to history enthusiasts to be unable to access the records.

It is disgusting that such a vitally important resource for research into our past should be the victim of such drastic budget allocation cuts! Please reconsider.

Time to remove the Tories who give massive tax breaks to corporations and the super-rich whilst allowing Britain's services to starve and fail.

How are these swingeing cuts to the key heritage education resource within the County Council's portfolio congruent with the County Council's investment in The Hive and its much publicised vision

I appreciate the pressures on Worcestershire County Council, but this is a quality of life service that needs to be preserved.

Slashing budget to the Archive and Archaeology Service will destroy the excellent service currently being offered and make it extremely difficult for researchers and genealogists to undertake their work.

Tragic if this resource is cut back. Its fundamental to our background not only as families but as a nation. Please think again.

Disaster - other areas have suffered from loss of services caused by such cuts - please DO NOT let Worcestershire suffer in the same way.

Lots of school children as well as adults have benefitted from this service. A cut seems very shortsighted. Isn't austerity meant to be ending?
