So important this service and the opportunities it makes available for individual and institutional research is maintained and continues to flourish as it has in recent years -particularly in a county like Worcestershire which is so rich in both physical and literary evidence.

Have found this service useful and would hate to see such an important resource affected by further cuts.

Thie Archive Service is an amazing facility enabling amateur and professional researchers to bring the forgotten history of the county to life, please preserve it for everyone to use.

I strongly support the campaign to save the Worcestershire Archives from these savage cuts. They are particular sad given Worcester's own proud history.

The reduction in budget allocation would be such a disaster for current and future generations when wishing to research the history of Worcestershire.

These records are result of hundreds of years of history and will be needed, and added to, for hundreds of years more. There is no adequate digital replacement - perhaps in 200 years time but for now these records need to be preserved and be available to the many people who use them and who are immortalised in them.

It's vital to preserve this historical record. Once lost, this resource can never be regained.

I very much hope that this valuable resource can be preserved - it will enable future historians to know more about the history of our churches, and Worcestershire life generally in the past.

Our shared past is who we are - without it our children become emotionally stateless.

Be a great shame to lose this facility for local history groups

If the archive facility is lost so is part of our history. Please don’t let this happen.
