Sorry, we don't need anymore apartments as there are lots of complexes that are not even full. We need the green space more!

What is considered progress by Carillon and the developer, Berkeley Hall, on their property, is considered complete disrespect by all of the people who enjoy the beautiful green space surrounding the office building. They have legal rights to do what they want to do on their property, but they can’t claim that they are being a good neighbor if they follow through with this plan. We have learned what an awesome neighbor that Shenandoah Life has been all these years. Carillon, please consider another option that will preserve the quality of life for your new neighbors in the established neighborhood who have valued and respected the green space for many years.

The increase traffic added to the already problem of traffic increase because of the housing up RT 221 toward Bent Mountain will make a huge problem that has not even been addressed.

Save the Woodlands! We don't need anymore housing in the area. We do need to conserve what little greenspace is left.

This park setting is what makes Roanoke so unique. Why develop one of the few remaining parks when there are many other areas of Roanoke that could use this type of development?

We must preserve our woodland areas! They are vanishing far too quickly; and, there are so many houses, empty store fronts and office buildings not being utilized. Why do we need more?!

We are so blessed to have this jewel in the middle of the city. I walk my dog there daily from our house. I hope it isn't a "done deal" and we are only tilting at windmills...

What a great value located within the city of Roanoke. As a downtown Roanoke business owner I certainly hope the city council and the city's largest employer do what's best for the community, instead of what is best for a single developer who cares nothing about the long-term wellness of the valley.

I am a SW County resident, a strategic planning & business management expert, & one of the thousands of walkers, runners, riders, & 4-legged creatures who consider the Murray Run Greenway (and the woodlands bordering it) a true treasure of great spiritual, environmental, and yes, business/econ. dev. value. It is quality of life writ so very large.

I value the land and utilize it almost daily to exercise and connect with the outdoors and my community. Please reconsider for the sake of the neighborhood and Roanoke.

There are plenty of developed areas throughout Roanoke that can be used for new housing. There is no need to tear up green areas and destroying wildlife.

This is high density housing being parked next to an established single family dwelling neighborhood. It goes against the neighborhood plan, as well as the zoning, which does NOT specify high density housing (even though city officials declined to acknowledge this fact).
