What is this world going to be like when all the natural areas that support wildlife are destroyed? It's just another step in a move that will eventually destroy life on Earth as we know it!

I use these trails often and so do my friends. My kids love them. Please do not develop this property!

Please reconsider your intent to build apartments on this property. It has been a defacto nature park for as long as Shenandoah Life has owned it. Consequently, the community treats it as such. I walk those trails almost every morning with my dog and have done so for just short of 15 years. Many friends living in the area have grown up in those woods. Besides uprooting the wildlife and destroying the stand of old growth pines and the other negative impact s like increased traffic, etc., you will severely impact the quality of life for much of the surrounding community. I would suspect you had no idea that this was going to develop into an issue but I urge you to reconsider. Thanks for reading.

This is not a good decision for our community. I live on Brambleton Avenue and the traffic is already too congested. Adding an additional 500 residents in a 200 plus apartment complex is going to make this area an unbearable commute in the mornings and evenings. These woodlands that you want to destroy are a treasure in our neighborhood. Taking that away will be a travesty for the community. Please reconsider your options.

Please reconsider your contract to have an apartment complex built in an area that is unique and of high value to Roanoke. There are many other options to consider that will increase the value in this area.

Murray Run and the surrounding woodlands are treasured here in my neighborhood. I love taking the dog for walks in that area. Sometimes we scout down the side trails just to find the newest wildflowers or spy on the fawns playing in the small field behind the Shenandoah Life building. It would be such a shame to destroy that precious woodland and the homes of all the wildlife that live there.

Please don't eliminate this tiny bit of wooded eutopia in our area...it's so beautiful & is our daily therapy spot...not to mention the presence of all of the wildlife in the area. I understand the importance of business development, but this is a very rare & beloved green space in the middle of our city...please, please, please make your decision for the good of the community & not for the financial well-being of a corporation that already owns half of Roanoke!!!!

One of the best things about Roanoke is the green space, the feel of sprawl that hasn't taken over- leave this alone and find someplace else to build stupid apartments- maybe do something in the projects for the people that need it.

The woodlands is a place for city residents to live in our great city yet still have the outdoors to explore. Please do not take this away from our growing population and future families that want to live somewhere with nature and a active community.

Do not let a Monopolies greed destroy a natural green space. Do not permanently destablize a stable neighborhood with these apartment abominations that are NOT needed. Shame on Carilion and Berkley Hall!!!
