I GREW UP IN Winters. This IS what I remember from school. Don't take it away because of a couple of SNOWFLAKES. This IS/WAS OUR school!

I am a proud Winters High School Warrior graduate class of 1981. The Winters Warrior mascot is part of the City of Winters history, and must remain, please!

The PC Police have moved into my small hometown! What a shame! Stop this nonsense!

Keep it the way it has been for 80+ years. Changing it gives into a small minority of hyper-sensitive and "eager to be offended" individuals who are making a mountain out of a mole hill. I have Indian blood and a warrior is not an insult to me. If it is anything, it is a compliment to me and the indigenous people.

I grew up in winters and I only went to high school there for two years but in those two years I was and still am proud to be a Winters Warrior Graduate. Please don't change the name. Being a winters warrior is a sense of pride and honor for us that have been warriors. We never meant for the name to be disrespectful in fact we respect the name very much. I know I truely loved being a winters warrior when I went to high school there
