The council has officially withdrawn their proposal to close the nursery school. It is deeply gratifying to see our collective efforts result in the preservation of this essential facility. We must now remain diligent to ensure the school receives the necessary maintenance to continue its work for generations to come.

The council want to take the willows nursery school premises away from them, as they say it will cost too much to fix the problems the building has occurred over the last 14 years. With everyone's help we need as many signatures as possible to help save the nursery school. I'm sure each of you knows a child that has attended the nursery since it's opening and know what a fantastic job the group of ladies do, now is the time to help and show you care.

The momentum generated by this campaign has exceeded my expectations and highlights how much this community values the nursery. This level of support provides a necessary foundation as we formalize our case to the council.

My oldest went here and absolutely loved it. Why shut down something that actually works??

For a community that is growing - why take away something that is so much needed, and a place where children (including mine) are given opportunities to develop and learn in a safe and happy place x

I find it difficult to comprehend the priorities of the local parish council, who were asking for opinions on a skate park a couple of months ago, the renovation of this building and the continuation of this valuable local nursery must take priority.

Ridiculous decision. Repair the roof or whatever it needs and leave them alone.
