This park hasn't brought undesirables if that's the debate and cutting it in half won't stop the same "undesirables" from skating the other half. I grew up skating here it's messed up that they wanna take one of like 8 long island skateparks.

There are plenty of tennis courts all over the island. Let them play this "sport" that no one has ever heard of at one of them...

I agree, you should not take away park space for the young and give it to the senior citizens (or even vice versa). We need to take care of our parks properly, not just throw them away and design something else entirely.

I skateboarded in Highschool (2001) and still do on occasion. It's such a better alternative to just hanging around and picking up vices.
