The park barely needed any repairs at all. Shutting it down was crazy to begin with. Save the skate park! Pickle ball? Is that some kind of a joke. Save the skate park.

I suspect when the pickleball players are there along with the skateboarders, they will complain of the noise the skateboarders make -- no fault of the skateboaders who are just having fun like kids are supposed to do. Then when the pickleballers complain to the town..... guess what happens to the skateboarders? They will be out.
Kyle is right - there are other places to put a pickleball court - any tennis court can be re-purposed to be a dual-purpose court.
Instead of a 10-year tax break for the next chain restaurant, hotel chain or big box store, make them donate $100,000 to the skatepark BEFORE they get their tax break.
Here's a crazy idea: Get Home Depot AND Lowes to donate all the materials needed for the skatepark -- are they getting tax breaks anyway??

My daughter is one of the few girls that go to the skate park. She loves it. The boys and older kids always give her tips on how to ride better. She'd be heart broken of she were to lose that.

The town needs to increase programs for kids, especially teens. There is not a lot for them to do. This is a safe and supervised location to gather.

It will be dangerous for the kids to ride, skate, blade, etc. together in the top section of the skate park. That's not an improvement and it will waste taxpayer dollars.

The Skate Park is more important than another pickleball court(s). I teach pickleball and enjoy playing, but not at the expense of our youth.

My son enjoys the park.
Its a safe place and you know the kids enjoy it. Better then doing drugs and other things we all dont want out kids doing.
