Unbelievable. RBC strikes again, totally out of touch with the what the people of Rugby want.

Utterly horrified at the thought of such wilful vandalism by Rugby Council. The bandstand has childhood memeories for three generations of my family. I was assured, during a fun day in the park some years ago that it would be preserved; that it would feature in the new plans for the redevelopment. What justification could there be for letting it fall into such awful disrepair and now the proposal to remove it. Rugby.is slowly losing all of its character.

I now live in Australia but Rugby is my home town. It would be sinful to let this wonderful old bandstand deteriorate further through lack of repairs.

This bandstand should be fixed and utilised properly, as it could be used properly so it could pay for itself and be there for generations to come so all can enjoy ! Put bands on there charity gigs , comedy or film in the park nights it would pay for it self then .

Will we be pulling down Rugby's clock tower next? No lets save our towns history! Dear council... Rugby its not just about Rugby football, maybe some of you should visit the museum and value your own towns history?

Please save the band stand. Surely it cannot cost much to repair. The Council has allowed it to get into this state and must repair it before someone gets injured as people still go there as it is so loved.
