On Friday the 8th day of April, 2017 the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus authorities through Campus Security directed the Wellness Space to cease all operations with immediate effect. Since then the only full and wholesome vegetarian/vegan food provider on the campus has closed. This has left a gap on campus for the many students, staff and visitors to the campus who have depended upon the healthy nutritious food provided by the Wellness Space,.

Henceforth we the concerned customers demand that:

1. The University authorities give the management team of the Wellness Space a limited time to upgrade at the same location on the hand-wash station, raising their roof and any other infrastructural upgrade instructed by the Health Department or the like.

2. That if the University authorities are desirous to use 22 West Road for a different purpose they find another location for the Wellness Space.

3. That the University instruct the Wellness Space to reopen as soon as possible.
