I helped build this fantastic b&b, cafe, bar and would hate to see all our hard work go to waste. Its a great place and many people enjoying dining, meeting, staying there. Steve and his family have worked so hard to make a go of it. They deserve a break. There is enough business in birvhington and minnis bay for all businesses to succeed. Competition is healthy.

The Waves provides a viable alternative to the over priced Shepard Neame facility. The Waves is an independent local business supported by locals but is encouraging visitors to Minnis Bay. I don't own a dog but many do and love the dog friendly service. Closing this would be a sad loss to our seafront. Healthy competition and consumer choice should be encouraged!

Have only been a local for just over a year,what a wonderful place we found in Waves.Great food lovely people.We tried a alternative place in Minnis Bay they were not in the same league as Waves.Hope you win against Thanet council .

One of Minnis Bays greatest assets. A warm welcome is guaranteed everytime you visit. The Waves not only supports the local community but has found a 'gap' in the market that poeple want to see. I wish the Waves all the success and hope they will be around for many years to come.

Such a lovely place to visit, & such a lovely friendly welcome too when you enter from Steve, Jane & their staff!
A family run business means that they welcome families & not just talking children but the four legged furry variety too!!
To get such a personal & friendly atmosphere & service these days is very rare & should infact be congratulated not penalised & The Waves should be used as an example to other businesses to show them the way to a successful thriving happy business!!!

You can apoeal decision if already made. Your Ward Cllr could of taken this up for you. Im not sure if this is/was an Officer decision and it didn't go to planning committee. Your Cllr could have "called it in" to committee, where it would be debated hopefully.
