Once again the local council will go all out to stop a local businessman make a go of a good business. Because he's too busy....... Thanet district council are a disgrace

Why would this be refused? It is in the perfect position for local people and visitors. Plenty of parking (more revenue for TDC) and keeps our dogs off the beach as they are very dog friendly. It’s a WIN WIN situation

This lovely place is what Birchington and minnis bay need. This for the community as much as for the owner. David vs Goliath it seems and we all know how that ended! Good Luck and hopefully it will be a fair fight

The Waves provides a excellent Restaurant and Bar within the Minnis Bay Community and would be very sad to see it disappear due to big companies once again bullying smaller companies.

The Waves is well respected and loved and provides people with an exceptional alternative dining experience. Minnis Bay benefits, and people are employed. A great deal of time and money went into this venture, not to mention the personal sacrifices.
