Save the Vitagraph Smokestack! I was pleasantly surprised several years ago when I learned this silent movie icon survived. Now, it's in danger of being demolished. Let it stand another hundred years!!

This is a true historic monument and souvenir of one of the first and most successful of American film companies. Vitagraph films carried American culture around the world. this remnant of the Vitagraph Studio should be saved and protected for he world to see.

I'm a Vitagraph researcher and was thrilled that this still survived! We're losing so many of the remnants of film studio history--please save this lovely reminder of what is a very historic and important studio!
