When we first payed the CAC , 53 years ago, we were told it was for scientific research and advertising. There has been no research delivered in 53 years to my certain knowledge. The adverts I have seen have sold avos, NOT CA avos. Put simply , I want a watchdog on the CAC, a pitbull watchdpg.

All of my friends are amazed at the higher quality taste and texture of California avocados (as opposed to the cheap imports at the grocery store)... please support our produce and our livelihood.

Tired of everyone with their hand in the pot. We get no premium pricing over imported fruit and struggle just to get buy. Good riddance to the overpaid commission.

The avocado industry is being fleeced by CAC and HAB who's self preservation efforts outweighs any benefit to local growers. They are looking for a "one world avocado!" They get paid on total weight, with no differentiation for quality or organic.
