I am so upset to hear they are even thinking of knocking down the Union Hotel. So many memories from when we used to do the Limburg tril renactment.

The Union Hotel needs to stay. It may have nothing in use for it but I always admire it whenever I walk by because of the History it has to it.

This is a beautiful piece of history in Flemington and it would be awful for the town to lose it. This hotel has too much history to be lost. it needs to be renovated, not torn down.

Flemington's not what it was...but that's no reason to keep going down a failed path. Preserve some integrity.

They want to make Flemington another New Brunswick. NO THANK YOU!! The only one who will benefit from this is the developer and not the residents of Flemington. Look at how successful New Hope, Lambertville and Frenchtown are at preserving and repurposing their heritage buildings. Those in charge of these "Committees" are really missing the mark with their redevelopment ideas. My guess is that they weren't raised in this area and therefore do not have the same affinity for the historical gems that remain.

Let's enhance the character of this small town instead of making it just another box town. We have an opportunity that new communities do not.
