Originally from Jersey...I spent many days of my childhood shopping in Flemington with my family. The Union Hotel SHOULD NOT see the wrecking ball...my god people... be creative! Do something with the building a preserve Flemington's past! Not everything has to be knocked down....

This is a building that can never be rebuilt. A centerpiece of historic Flemington should not be demolished to make way for short-term greed.

Why can't we somehow incorporate our past with our future by USING the past instead of building something that's supposed to look old (but doesn't ever quite succeed)l

I'm not too much of a history buff but this place is worth saving. It may be neglected greatly but that's simply because no one could hold a practical buisness there due to the main streets high rent. This place deserves to stay. Especially after so many other historical buildings have been brought down "just because".

Keeping historical items and places around are VERY important, especially to have a town that's a destination for tourism. A lot has gotten town down/replaced in Flemington and I don't wanna see another building go. Hopefully it stays.
